Maca Root is an ancient superfood known for its adaptogenic properties, helping the body adapt to stress and promote overall well-being. . It grows exclusively in the Central Andes of Peru. I read in multiple articles that it is AKA "Peruvian Ginseng." It's part of the turnip family.
It is one of my daily essentials that I've recently incorporated. The reason why I began supplementing maca was to help balance my hormones and manage my stress.
