CHANGE THE WAY YOU THINK - Why being Conscious of your Thoughts is Super Important

How many times a day do you allow your thoughts to take over your mind? For your thoughts to run on auto-pilot? I recently read that we human beings produce about 50,000-70,000 thoughts per day. That is a sh*t load of thoughts if you ask me.
Now let me ask you, what are your thoughts filled with? Are your thoughts unconsciously filled with beautiful, inspiring, loving thoughts?
Or does your self-talk consist of things like:
Judgment
Gossip
Self-Sabotage
Criticism to self and to others
Negative past experiences
Pessimism
Non-stop complaints
Blaming others for ____
Comparing yourself to others
Anything that resonates in a low frequency
Here are some examples:
"I'm so fat"
"I'm not smart enough"
"Ew, I'm so ugly - I can never look like her"
He said, She said BS - *GOSSIP*
"I can't believe I made a fool out of myself in front of every one in class" *FLASHBACK -10 million years ago*
Be mindful of what your self-talk is. It's a conversation with the universe

Brief Evaluation of my past
& Social Beliefs
My mind was set up in reaction to negativity. I used to be this automatic robot producing negative thoughts every single day. These thoughts would consume me so much that it took over my life. It was as if it was a natural thing for me to see my world covered with bullsh*t. It even reflected in my physical life.
After discovering how important your thoughts are and reading The Secret, it was like a veil lifted away from my eyes and I can finally see that we have been brainwashed with negative social beliefs. The media plays a huge role in the way we think just because it is saturated in our everyday lives. Whether it is from the TV, magazines, Instagram, billboards, etc, it is everywhere. Not just media, but even family/friends, authoritative figures, conservative religious leaders, news, etc are huge external factors of how our minds are shaped and influenced!
It is vital to be aware of the content that is being exposed into our daily lives so that we don't fall into the illusion of what our life is supposed to be like.

I'm so grateful for how far I've come. I've brought so much meaning into my life. And that's because I made a choice to become conscious of my thoughts. Which is why I want to share with you what I have learned along my spiritual journey. I intend to raise consciousness in to as many individuals that stumble upon this blog post. I intend to bring an increase of positive knowledge and let my message sink into your soul and make a positive shift in your life just by being aware. For this message has changed my life, and may it bring great change for yours, as well. I have to give a huge thanks to the book, The Secret, for giving me a jumpstart into my spiritual journey and bringing me into alignment with the universe and all the beautiful gifts, growth, lessons, and more that have came into my path. This book takes you into deeper details of understanding the Law of Attraction. This is a great book for beginners that are searching for meaning in their life and want to get out of the traditional way of living.
This is why I must reinforce the importance of being conscious of your thoughts. You don't want to accidentally manifest something into your life due to involuntary thoughts that you don't want happening in your life. Thoughts becomes things. So pay close attention to what you are thinking about as it can be attracted into your life.
PS: You are gonna find that I repeat things but in different words. That is because I want to embed this into your brain! :)
How many of us believe that we have no control of our thoughts? I know that majority of us let our thoughts take control of our lives. I mean like... sh*t, schools don't tell us about how powerful our thoughts are.
So what if we monitored the thoughts that we think about? What if we decreased the automatic negative thoughts and saturate our minds with positivity. The Secret states one positive thought is a hundred times more powerful than a negative thought. So why not cultivate the positive thoughts and let that take up the space of our minds. Let it embed into your DNA.
The Law of Attraction (LOA)
This is where I'm going to bring in my favorite subject; The Law of Attraction (LOA). It basically works like this: What you signal out to the universe, you attract it into your life. Whatever you put your focus on is what will manifest into your life.
The trick to this is that you have to really believe it and really feel it. It is also important to leave no trace of lower energies (fear, anger, doubt worries, etc) involved otherwise it contradicts the law of attraction from working. So if you're feeling very happy in your life, you are going to be attracting more similar situations, circumstances, ideas, people and more things to happen into your life. As goes for the opposite, if you're feeling very sh*tty, you are going to attract more negative related things into your life. That's how simple the universe is. The universe responds to whatever vibration and intention that you put out to the world.
The Law of Attraction states that whatever you focus on, think about, read about, and talk about intensely, you're going to attract more into your life

Mantras + Affirming your Thoughts
REPETITION IS SUPER DUPER KEY AF! What I like to do is fill up my mind with tons of affirmations. Affirmations that resonate with what I would like to create in my reality. This is what helps you reprogram your subconscious into a mind filled with positivity. The universe is going to hear the repetitiveness of your affirmations and soon respond. The Secret gives a perfect metaphoric example of how the Law of Attraction works. Aladdin declares what he wishes to the magic genie, and the genie grants the wish into real life.
So instead of producing all these negative thoughts that don't even serve us for a higher good, why don't we replace them with happy and loving thoughts so that your thoughts will have an out-picture of a happy and loving reality for you. I can't tell you how much more meaningful my life has been ever since I have been conscious of what my thoughts are producing.
You can totally find yourself a mantra that you want to begin affirming into your life. For example, "I am surrounded with beauty and abundance." You can repeat this while you brush your teeth, drive to work, do your laundry, right before you go to sleep. You can honestly affirm anytime you want to. The reason why I mentioned all of this above is because there is no excuse for you to "not have time" to affirm what is a valuable investment into your life.
You can't stop negative thoughts from popping into your head, but you can choose to stop letting them control you and your life.
Focus on what you do want. Focus on your desires, dreams, aspirations and all that you would like to create in your life. We are unlimited beings living in an physical body. It is so crazy to me that our society doesn't emphasize the fact that you are creator of your reality. Once you start affirming all the wonderful things and situations you would like to manifest in your life, the more fulfilling your life will be. It can definitely be difficult to try to manifest when you are surrounded by negative people and situations. Your environment is everything along with the people that you surround yourself with. Do they lift you? Or do they hinder your growth?
We are so fortunate today to have access to information like this. This is the way I see it, if one person comes across this information. This person can be inspired and be led to share the knowledge to their family and friends, and so on and so on. Let's spread this wave and begin living in love and harmony.
