Ahhh... It's that time of month again. The New Moon is a very magical time to plant the seeds of your intentions. It is all about new beginnings and having a fresh start. It is when the moon and the sun simultaneously rises and sets at the same time. Our eye capabilities as humans don't let us see the New Moon. But it so does not stop the New Moon from exuding its sacred cosmic frequency unto mother earth.

What I've learned about the New Moon is that is the best time to really set out your intentions. But Khristyne, I thought you set out your intentions everyday though? Why yes, I sure do set my intentions every day. However, on this special day, it is the best time to sow your intentions, goals, wishes and all your deepest desires on a New Moon. This is the time I really dig deep and get mighty thorough into the details of what I want to create into my life.

Think about it like this: the New Moon emanates a powerful energetic frequency on to the earth. This frequency has like this FERTILE ENERGY.

Let me put it this way:

Imagine that you want to have a cherry tree. You are planting the seeds of the cherry tree onto a fertile ass soil that like has this magical touch in its soil which will accelerate the growth of your cherry tree.

The cherry seeds = Your Intentions, desires, wishes, goals

The fertile ass soil = The New Moon's energy

The actual cherry tree = Your manifestation (of your intentions)

AKA THE BEST TIME TO SOW YOUR INTENTIONS, DESIRES, WISHES, & GOALS ON A NEW MOON.

Here are some ideas that you can incorporate to begin or tweak your New Moon Ritual:

1. Gather your intention essentials

This will include:

- any writing material like your journal or a piece of paper

- any writing tool like a handy dandy pen

- any spiritual cleansing tool like sage or palo santo

- abundance check (click here to print your own) or you make one yourself or use real checks

- incense or candle

- crystals

And anymore symbolic items that will make your New Moon experience very meaningful to you.

2. Create a sacred space

It is totally up to you where you want to set your intentions. I normally do it in a comfortable setting like my room that is totally zenned out. You can do it in any alter of your choice like a room, a balcony, in your backyard, anywhere that you feel most comfortable. Light up an incense to set the mood and apply an essential blend on to your wrists, temples, behind your neck for that added stimulation. Ultimately, you want to be in a clear space of beauty and relaxation.

PS: I make these triangle shelves that you see to the right (or to the top if you're on a phone). They make for perfects displays for your crystals and succulents plants. You can cop them here.

3. Cleanse your energy and your space

This is where your spiritual tool comes in. I like to sage my whole entire house just to clear out any lower energies and keep the house energetically squeaky clean. Then I bring out my palo santo and use it clear my own energetic field and ignite some wonderful creative juices into my field. Palo santo is also known to raise your vibration. It is important that you energetically de-clutter so that you can have a clear space to free flow your truest desires.

4. Ground yourself

The reason for this is because you want to be able to remove the resistance in your mind so that you can smoothly and easily flow your heart's desires onto paper. You are basically tapping into your higher self - inner intelligence - divine wisdom - intuition - source energy - God - Angels whatever divine you resonate with and writing your desires that will be in alignment to your soul purpose.

I like to take a few deep breaths and proceed into a mini meditation for about 15 minutes. I make sure I clear out any lingering thoughts that may have been residually hanging out in my mind from the day. There are many other forms of grounding. This one I'm about to mention is a form of visualization. It consists of sitting down and imagining yourself growing roots deep into Mama Earth and bringing in her energy from deep into earth all the way back up through your spine filling your entire being with nurturing love and light. You can also check out Pinterest for other forms of grounding as well if you're not feeling my suggestions.

5. Plant thy seeds

Now you can begin the writing process. This will be your space of creation where you will allow yourself to delve into your deepest desires from heart to pen. Oh, and something I have learned through repetitiveness from different platforms is the power of writing. There is something super powerful from writing your thoughts onto paper. There is a strong connection of emotion when you unload your intentions onto paper making it clear to the universe what you want to manifest into your life. Not only do I set my intentions. But I also create abundance checks. Here is a link of the checks I print out.

When the moon is dark, dig into the moist earth of your Spirit, full of possibilities. Plant your seeds, plant your intentions. Nurture your life and let it grow

The powerful energy of the moon has a special frequency for hearing out your intentions helping you align into the flow of manifestation. It is a super, duper powerful time to allow for all the desires you want to bring into your life. The cool thing about New Moon Ritual's is that it becomes a part of your monthly investment to yourself. And guess what? It is completely free! This monthly investment to yourself will bring much more clarity into your life and lead you into a abundant garden that will soon manifest into your reality.

PS: There is no right or wrong way to do a New Moon Ritual. It is whatever feels right to you.

PS#2: You have 24 hours from the time of the New Moon to set your intentions during its powerful lunar energy.

Here is a lunar schedule I use that I got from Google! Link is below.
